Game Mechanics and Payouts
Orbit Sum uses two independent pointers that each draw a number from zero to six uniformly. These values are added together and the sum is calculated modulo seven. Players choose an arc of one, two, or three positions starting from zero. If the result falls within the chosen arc, the gross payout is 6.72 times, 3.36 times, or 2.24 times the stake respectively. Any other result returns zero. The expected return to player is ninety-six percent across all modes.
Stakes, Settlement and Controls
Available stakes are ten, twenty-five, fifty, and one hundred virtual coins, with twenty-five as the default. The stake is deducted once at the start of the round and persists before any animation begins. Settlement is automatic upon the end of the reveal or chosen exit, with no manual stop or autoplay available. Reloading the page discards any unfinished round without refund or resumption. Controls for stake, start, and mode selection are disabled while the round is active.
Wallet Behavior and Restoration
The demo begins with a balance of one thousand virtual coins, which have no cash value. A manual refill is available only when the balance falls below ten coins during idle time, setting the balance to one thousand rather than adding that amount. Fractional carry is persisted separately in hundredths, while whole coins are credited to the localStorage. The pending round flag and controls reset upon reload.
